How to make tomato paste in a jiffy
Saving time in the kitchen always seems like a struggle especially when you have a house party or when you simply want a quick meal. Here's how you can prepare tomato paste in a jiffy:
Wash and put the tomatoes in boiling water for a minute. Take them out and keep aside to cool.
Dry and peel the boiled tomatoes.
Now grind them to a fine paste.
Spoon the tomato paste into ice cube trays and freeze overnight.
After they are frozen, transfer the cubes to plastic bags to save space in a freezer. Food Fact: Simply drop the frozen cubes directly in any curry for the perfect tomato colour and flavour.
